This well known landmark is steeped in myth, legend and rich history – a place of epic stories if ever there was one – while below, ordinary everyday, yet epic in their way, stories are told and unfold.
A limited edition relief print with a rich texture and strong dark colour scheme, evoking a time of day when stories are read before bed. Four individual plates were cut for this original print of this classic view of Whitby Abbey from across the harbour. Every print in this limited edition has character – an intrinsic quality of art created by hand (as opposed to computer), and much appreciated by aficionado original print collectors.
