The landscape and sky swirl and cascade through this fluid original print as though it were all ocean, while the lighthouse, a symbol of hope, stands tall.
A three plate original linocut developed from a single artist's proof (now in a private collection) which was previously on display and commended at Scarborough Art Gallery, Yorkshire, UK. The two prints are inspired by Flamborough lighthouse, Yorkshire, UK. While contemporary in style, this print is an example of traditonal printmaking. The print is 25.4cm x 30.5cm (10" x 12"). Edition: 20.
